Forest Tonic

It wasn’t the kind of place you meant to find. The path narrowed, the air cooled, and before you could decide whether to turn back, she was there—half-hidden in the green, with hands damp from morning dew and crushed mint.
 
She moved like she belonged to the forest—quiet, watchful, with that kind of softness that made leaves seem greener and the air feel easier to breathe. Without a word, she pressed a small vial into your palm, something pale and bright, made for mending whatever small harm the day had done.
 
The scent rose up clean and cool—fresh cucumber and soft aloe, brightened with a twist of grapefruit and the green bite of wild mint. It smelled like clear water and good intentions, like laughter on the breeze and sunlight through leaves.
 
And just like that, she turned and disappeared between the trees—humming something light, like a song only the forest would know.
